Entelechy knows well the population we serve and plans to build a lasting presence throughout Africa that will provide counseling and educational programs that reach beyond the AIDS epidemic, and lead young people to develop a broad understanding of their health and well being. By collaborating with a variety of trusted entities within Africa, such as churches, schools, health clinics, and Universities. Entelechy, Inc. will establish on-going youth centers where our work can take root in the communities we serve. At these centers, young people can obtain skill training such as computer, welding, wood-work etc., attend informational presentations, talk to health care workers and counselors, obtain referrals for health services, receive guidance counseling for vocational and academic learning, and be treated to a myriad of AIDS, STD and non-violence awareness paraphernalia that is appropriate to their culture and society in the form of t-shirts, banners, songs, billboards and slogans. |
