Entelechy, believes that while a lot seems to have been said about AIDS epidemic in Africa, too much emphasis has perhaps been placed on the administrative aspect of the AIDS project, rather than on the corridors of its expansion.  Consequently, Entelechy Inc. seeks to provide its input at that level that claims the greatest perimeter in the orbit of HIV/AIDS.  It is our contention, based on our field experience and observation, that there is a need to concentrate more efforts, if not all, on the age group that will be the future theater of the AIDS scourge.  Hence, Entelechy seeks to single-mindedly focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness among students in secondary schools and universities.

We at Entelechy are aware of the social strictures, myths, misinformation, fear and denial that have stood in the way of AIDS prevention efforts. Our aim is toward debunking those social and cultural impediments through a patient and consistent presence in the lives of young Africans. Never before has the generation gap been so severe between youths and their elders. They are in great need of advocacy and guidance to empower them to be the vanguard against the epidemic. Entelechy's work will generate profound change in the social mores that historically have promoted the spread of AIDS, and thereby drastically increase the efficacy of all prevention efforts.
